Well Maddie Grace’s first Christmas is coming up quickly. In honor of such I’ve put together her picks for gifts this year. These are all products that we’ve had time to use and genuinely think are perfect for a baby’s first (or second) Christmas. And guess what? Not only am I showing you all these amazing products that I know you and your baby will love – I’m giving one reader a chance to win them all. That’s over $200 worth of baby goodies, who couldn’t use that this time of year? So I hope you enjoy reading about these favorite products of ours, get some great gift ideas, and I have my fingers crossed that you (yes, you) are the winner!
Moccasins from Freshly Picked
If you’ve followed my blog for a while, or follow me on Instagram, then you likely already know that we absolutely adore Freshly Picked moccasins. We were thrilled to try out one of their new limited edition mocks inΒ the color Oui Oui. These shoes are classy and glamorous, yet comfy and easy to match with outfits – it’s pretty hard to find a baby shoe that is all of those things. They should last MG into her first steps and beyond, and I’m already planning her first birthday outfit around these shoes.
Onesie from T Shirt Market
I saw this onesie and just knew it was perfect for our baby girl on her first Christmas. I mean, what 90’s kid doesn’t love Home Alone? And if you really are up for it, TΒ Shirt Market makes matching adult shirts, so you and your baby can be sure to be the hit of whatever holiday party you attend.
Scarf and Headband Set from Emerson Grace Boutique
I’ve been a fan of Emerson Grace boutique for a while and was excited to try out this scarf and headband duo. The headband is the perfect size for MG, and looks darling on her.The scarf is a little big right now but still super cute, and I know it will still fit her next year, and maybe even the year after that. Both pieces are clearly very well made, and the print is a must have for Christmas.
Baby’s First Christmas Ornament from Zoey’s Attic
I love ornaments and always want more than one to commemorate every occasion in life and trip we go on. My family always collected ornaments growing up, and when we would put them on the tree every year it would bring back all the great memories, and still does. I’m always sad when I miss putting up the ornaments on the tree at my dad’s house because of that. But now Tom and I are carrying on the tradition with our little family, collecting ornaments from occasions and our trips. Naturally we needed a baby’s first Christmas ornament, and this one from Zoey’s Attic is perfect, and I love that it is personalized. This will be an ornament that we cherish year after year and is the perfect addition to our tree. Zoey’s Attic has all kinds of personalized gifts and other ornaments, I highly recommend checking them out.
Num Num Dips
Spoons for a baby Christmas present? Sort of – these are so much more than spoons and my baby loves her Num Nums! Num Num Dips are easy for baby to hold, and have soft tips that are great for a teething baby to chew on. One has slits in it and the other doesn’t, so one is perfect for thin purees and the other better for thicker ones. Our baby doesn’t seem to like purees, apple sauce, etc because she wants to feed herself, and with these she is able to (kind of, she still misses a lot, but it is a learning experience after all). Plus MG loves to carry one around even when not eating just to chew on. If you have a baby or toddler, especially one who loves to eat, than this is a gift that needs to be on your radar.
A Christmas Carol Book and Buttons from BabyLit
It would be impossible to dislike BabyLit books. We have several now and they are the perfect books for babies and toddlers. BabyLit books have amazing pictures with creative and educational story lines, and A Christmas Carol is no different. It is a precious book that I know we will read for years to come. This book comes with 4 buttons that are perfect for any book lover for the Christmas season.
I’ve wanted a stacker for Maddie Grace for a while, and specifically was looking for one that was wooden, as I’m weary of plastic toys for babies. This stacker from Smiling Tree Toys is very well made and quite simply gorgeous. MG is 7 months old and loves playing with it. She turns it upside down and dumps all the rings off, and then plays with the rings. She isn’t quite able to stack the rings back on the pole but she will get there! It’s so fun to watch her learn new skills with this toy. I love that this toy is natural and organic, and that this amazing company donates to Peace Corps development programs for each toy sold. The same company has a new line called Smiling Tree Home that is precious so make sure to give those products a look while you are present shopping as well.
