Confession: I’ve never tried a spaghetti squash recipe. This Spaghetti Squash Garlic Noodles recipe from The Joyful Foodie looks absolutely divine. It’s definitely happening our next date night in.
2. Skillet Chicken Tortilla Pie
I received a cast iron skillet for Christmas and still haven’t used it yet, and I’m so excited that this Skillet Tortilla Chicken Pie from one of my favorite food bloggers, Pinch of Yum, is going to be the first recipe I try in it.
I’m trying to eat healthier this year so this Clementine Granola Salad from my sweet friend Happily Hughes is right up my alley. I’m not a huge salad fan but clementines and granola sweeten up a salad enough for me to actually eat it!
Does anyone else just melt for recipes that involve phyllo dough? Or is that just me? I’m also a big pot pie fan so this Phyllo Chicken Pot Pie recipe from Taste Love and Nourish is a dream recipe for me. I can not wait to try these on a cold night.
These Rustic Spiced Pear Galette from Just Bee Blog are quaint and darling. I love pear recipes so they look yummy to me too. Oh to bake these and curl up next to the fireplace with good company and a great book – that sounds like the perfect Winter evening.
Here’s another healthy energy for sticking with those New Year’s Resolutions. These Cranberry and Pomegranate Energy Balls from The NY Melrose Family look delicious and who couldn’t use some extra energy in the day? I love being able to make recipes like this instead of buying them so I know exactly what I’m putting into my body.
What a twist on your standard salad. I love the idea of mixing all the flavors in this Roasted Carrot and Chickpea Salad recipe from Perry’s Plate. This dish would be the perfect way to mix things up during the week.
Um get in my belly now. I love a good gumbo, and this Cajun Chicken and Sausage Gumbo from MontgomeryFest appears to be no exception. I hope it lives up to how good it sounds, and I have a feeling it will.
9. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pastry Puffs
This list was seriously missing some sweet stuff until I got to these Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pastry Puffs from Pizzazzerie. I mean adorable and delicious? Sign me up.
I absolutely adore little appetizers and things to eat with dips. It also just so happens that zucchini is one of few vegetables I enjoy eating. This Pita Chip Fried Zucchini from Lovely Little Kitchen makes me hungry just looking at it. These will be perfect to serve at our next gathering.
Of course I had to add in one of my own recipes. Looking back on the recipes I made in 2014, I decided these Oven Baked Ribs with Dr. Pepper Barbecue Sauce was my absolute favorite. Sweet, tangy, moist, delicious… those are only a few of the many words I could use to describe how these taste. You really must try them this year.
I’m closing out this list with a few recipes that are typically what you might think should come first. Yep – it’s breakfast time. And what better way to start than with a breakfast food with a non-traditional breakfast ingredient in this Cinnamon Apple Zucchini Muffins recipe from Arts & Crackers. I can’t imagine what these taste like although I figure they must be good, so I’m excited to give them a try.
I can’t imagine how you wouldn’t want to try this recipe after looking at that picture. I’m a fan of any recipe that you can make the night before and I’m fairly confident this Overnight Blueberry French Toast Bake from Deliciously Yum would be a hit at whatever breakfast meeting you have coming up.
14. Blueberry Muffin Breakfast Bake
Similar to the last recipe, but with key differences, and come on I bet you didn’t make nearly enough blueberry recipes last year. This Blueberry Muffin Breakfast Bake from Running With Spoons would make a great Saturday or Sunday morning family treat that everyone would enjoy.
Okay I lied, this last recipe isn’t for breakfast. Well maybe, I won’t judge you if that’s how you live. But this is the recipe I am most excited to try on this list – Wine Fruit Gummies from Thrive Style. These would be perfect to make for a special Valentine’s treat and I can’t wait.
Oh these all look so good! Wine Gummies?? Sign me up!

Just pinned the skillet chicken tortilla pie – yum!
I love finding new recipes and definitely think we'll try the Pita Chip Fried Zucchinis! It's a great way to gobble up the tonnage of zucchini we grow every summer!
Oooo. I'd love to try the Cinnamon Apple Zucchini Muffins! What a great round up.
