NUK® has been a big name in the baby world for a long time. NUK makes everything from pacifiers to tablewear to humidifiers for sweet little ones. I was thrilled when they asked if I wanted to try out some products and see how they work for my family. I was sent the Smoothie & Baby Food Maker, Sea Creatures Learner Cup and Tri-Suction Bowls, and fell in love with all of them.
The Smoothie and Baby Food Maker is what I was most excited about trying out. It arrived right around the time I was wanting to start Maddie Grace on straw cups. The perfect way to start a baby on straw cups is with smoothies, because they are thick and come out slowly. Water will just spill all over them. Trust me on this. Also as much as I love baby led weaning I’ve found that to get Maddie Grace to eat veggies I have to puree them and mix them in with fruit.

Smoothies and baby food are both so easy to make with this kit. For smoothies you fill up the 12 ounce smoothie cup with the ingredients you want, attach the blade piece where the lid would be and blend right into the cup. Then you just twist off the blade piece and twist on the straw top. For baby food you use the other blender attachment, and can pour the puree into one of the 6 storage containers that come with the kit.
This set is perfect for us for both purees and now smoothies. Since this arrived I’ve made smoothies and Maddie Grace has mastered drinking them out of the straw that comes with the kit. I typically mix spinach, strawberries and blueberries together and she absolutely loves that combination. Also I’ve used it a couple times to make smoothies for myself and find it works great!

I’ve been on a mission to find a sippy cup that doesn’t leak pretty much since we started using sippy cups. This NUK Sea Creatures Learner Cup hasn’t leaked at all, which is amazing to me, plus it’s really cute. The little handles are easy for Maddie Grace to hold, and it seems easy for her to drink out of as well. I love that the side of the cup has measurements on it so you know how much your baby is drinking.
The tri-suction bowls are great for little ones learning how to eat who really want to throw everything on their tray onto the floor! The set came with 2 BPA-free and dishwasher-safe bowls and 1 lid in bright fun colors. The bowls are fairly large so I think we will be continuing to use these for years to come!
