Maddie Grace’s feet have been growing at lightning speed. Good thing it’s time to buy her shoes for a new season anyways, if not I’d be pretty frustrated. I’ve rounded up the staple shoes that I’m adding to Maddie Grace’s closet for the fall and am sharing them with you today, because I think they’re pretty awesome finds:
Tailored Tots Rubber Sole Moccasins
I loved moccasins when Maddie Grace was immobile. They kept her feet warm, stayed on, and were so dang cute. But now that she is running around everywhere and spending a lot of time outside I thought that our days of moccasins were over. Thankfully I found Tailored Tots, who makes adorable and high quality moccasins with more durable and supportive rubber soles for crazy toddlers like mine. I received a pair of the rubber sole moccasins in soft purple and the color is really pretty and easy to pair with outfits. The leather is super soft on the inside, and these handcrafted shoes are clearly made incredibly well. I was also sent adorable newborn moccasins for baby boy and they are just perfect – can’t wait to put them on his little feet!
I’m not a fan of the fringed boot look on grown women. Not my thing at all. But toddlers and children? Yes, please. It’s freaking adorable. I ordered the Minnetonka Double Fringe Moccasin in the brown color and I know they will be a versatile staple for Maddie Grace’s fall wardrobe.
I’m not a Converse wearer. Once again, not my
thing. I owned a couple pairs in high school and those are still sitting
around somewhere at my dad’s house (sorry dad I’ll clean out my room
one day). But yet once again, freaking adorable on baby and kids! The Converse ‘Double Strap’ Sneaker features velcro straps and are perfect for the playground. These
shoes have such a fun look and the bright pink color is pretty perfect
for Maddie Grace’s bright personality.
Well TOMs’s are just a classic that every girl needs a pair of, no matter her age. There are so many fun prints and styles of TOMs for toddlers, the TOMS Classic Tiny are my favorite though, and they are a perfect shoe for running around and exploring, while still looking adorable and trendy.
I’m going to be the first to admit that these aren’t my favorite shoes (honesty is key, friends). However, they are Maddie Grace’s favorite so they made my list. These Ikiki shoes feature fun animals on them (Maddie Grace is cat obsessed) and best/worst of all – they squeak! The good thing is that the squeaker is easily turned off. The bad thing is that the squeaking is Maddie Grace’s favorite thing. She runs around our house in her Chairman Meow Shoes cracking up and stomps her feet just to get the shoes to squeak. She thinks that they are so much fun and I love watching her joy and anything that makes her happy. I also love the Sascha Narwhalski Booties I was sent for baby boy. They are fun and playful, and seem like they will be comfortable and keep his little toesies warm!
