I haven’t posted a lot lately about what’s been going on in our lives, so I wanted to take a minute to do that while showing off some new shoes that have made life much more fun! I’ve officially hit the 33 weeks mark of pregnancy and am still struggling with back pain, heartburn, and just general exhaustion mixed with insomnia and a husband traveling for work which is a fabulous combination. Despite that everything has been really good and we’ve just been enjoying our last bit of time as a family of three lately!
We spent last weekend in Savannah for Thanksgiving which was awesome. We had quality family time, caught up with good friends, rested, ate good food, and even got to squeeze in some fun around town and holiday shopping.
This week we’ve been taking it easy for the most part. We were able to fit in a couple play dates and get a lot of work done around the house. We’ve got our tree set up and decorated, stockings hung, and a wreath on our door! We still need to get lights hung on the house, but hopefully we get to that before it’s actually Christmas. Now we are gearing up for a fun weekend – including not one, but two Santa visits tomorrow – we are hoping Maddie Grace enjoys them more than the last one. Really she hasn’t been very photogenic at all lately, in fact she’s been hating having her picture taken, so I hardly have any recent pictures with her in them.
And yes, I’ve really been wearing these new Women’s Harvest Booties by Carlos from Famous Footwear all the time. They are comfortable, stylish, and perfect for running around shopping or chasing a crazy toddler in. And when I’m not wearing these boots I’m typically wearing pajamas paired with the most comfortable slippers ever by Minnetonka also at Famous Footwear!
