About 3 years ago my husband bought me my first DSLR camera. That camera went through so much, including the first 20 months of my daughters life and 2 trips to Europe. But towards the end I was having a lot of problems with it – because I didn’t treat it well. I would throw my camera in my diaper bag. Sip cups would spill on it, it would get dropped, and ultimately it stopped working. For Christmas I upgraded to a new camera that I’m completely in love with. I have the Canon Eos 6D with a 35 mm lens that I hardly ever take off of it. It was a pricey investment but I use it every single day, it really is the most important piece of equipment a blogger can have, and I don’t regret it one bit. But that said, I want to really take care of this camera and the lens. It’s my non-human baby. But the camera case that came with it is ugly and bulky, and I found myself not taking my camera places because I was worried about how to transport it easily and therefore I wasn’t using it. That’s when I became determined to find a cute camera bag so that I could actually use my bag. I searched all over until I found one from ShutterTotes, an Etsy store, that I love.
ShutterTotes bags look cute like purses, but offer superior protection for your DSLR camera. You can even have a custom bag created just for you to meet your style/camera needs which I think is amazing. This bag fits my camera, 35 mm lens, and 50 mm lens perfectly. It has a small zip pocket in the back where my camera and lens cleaning supplies fit perfectly. My new camera bag can be carried by arm, shoulder, or cross body, which is how I usually have it as I’m chasing crazy kids. The bag is incredibly well made with an outer of vegan faux leather and seems very high quality, and I love how cute the inside fabric of the bag is.
