So this always happens. We spend a couple of weekends in town and I get the urge to travel again. Then we go on a trip and I’m all like ahhh I’m over traveling. So since our week in Savannah we’ve been back in Atlanta and now a couple weeks later I’m already trying to plan another trip. Does anyone else get like this?
But even though we were in town we had a really great weekend. We decided to check out the Atlanta Botanical Garden’s newly reopened Children’s Garden on Saturday, which was amazing. The Botanical Garden has always been one of my favorite spots in Atlanta but their new splash pad is just awesome. We ended the day at Atlanta’s Krog Street Market for some barbecue and ice cream.
I sported this adorable backpack from Rebekah Scott Designs for the day. I knew I wanted the backpack style because it makes being a mom of 2 so much easier, and then was able to pick the fabric pattern, leather color, and inside fabric design that I wanted. The bag is very high quality and perfect for fitting all the mom essentials for running around town in. Plus there are lots of interior pockets so I don’t lose my lipsticks in my bag. Priorities. Go check them out and use the code ‘CasualClaire’ for $10 off any purchase over $75! Everything from Rebekah Scott is handmade, washable and guaranteed!

Sunday we managed to make it to church (and were on time which is rare for us) and to a nice fancy dinner at Davio’s Restaurant. We tried out their Sunday Supper which was outstanding, and a deal at $25/person for a 3 course meal. There was live music that Tom and Maddie Grace danced to for a while, and I had the Ribollita, Chicken Marsala, and Florentine Sponge Cake. Our service was top notch and everything was just perfect. The waiters were even all so sweet to Maddie Grace and her little pizza was delicious too (yes I tried a few bites). Each week they are focusing on a different part of Italy so be sure to go check it out!
Would love to hear what all of you did this weekend below!
