Does anyone else love seeing all the Christmas decorations up all over the place? From lights on neighbours houses, to displays at the store, I get really excited this time of year. We’ve just barely had time to start getting the house decorations up though, but I’m planning to get it all up this weekend. We did a fun craft with the kids making a holiday tissue paper wreath to hang on the door that I wanted to share with you today!
But before we get into the details of wreath making I’ve got an awesome sweepstakes – you can win Walmart eGift Cards ($100 or $500) or a Family Holiday Kit:
American Greetings #MerryAndBright Sweepstakes
But back to the wreath! These wreaths are a lot of fun and super easy to make.
Here’s all you need:
Wreath Ring
American Greetings Tissue Paper
Ribbon
Stickers
Any other decorations like chalkboard or extra ribbons
Here’s what you do:
Stuff tissue paper between rings of wreath ring. Bunch it up more to make a tighter wreath or fluff it out!
Use a ribbon wrapped around the paper to pull together the look of the wreath. Tie another ribbon around two rings to create a loop with which to hang the wreath from.
Decorate the wreath however you desire. This is a great way to get little ones involved. My 2.5 year old had a blast putting stickers on the wreath!
Hang it up to spread Christmas cheer!
Another way to spread Christmas cheer this year is to “elf” your friends, neighbours, or even coworkers. You can do this by creating a small gift back with American Greetings products and M&M’s and a free printable to explain it to them that you can find on the social hub here.
I love using American Greetings products to make this time of year extra festive, and I find them all at Walmart! With Walmart’s everyday low prices and American Greetings’ festive bags, tissue, stickers, and greeting cards, you can quickly find everything you might need. Also make sure you save $2.00 when you shop with this Ibotta offer!
Make sure you check out the Blue Mountain 12 days of Christmas inspiration here! What Christmas activities are you working on around the house? I’d love to hear more about them below!
