I know, it’s been well over a month since Tripp’s birthday. Okay a month and a half. YIKES! That’s why I wanted to get this post up with all the details on Tripp’s lumberjack birthday party. And then maybe I’ll even start working on thank you notes from it. We had the party in January, although it was ridiculously warm (because Atlanta weather this year). Lots of our friends and family came over for our little lumberjack birthday party at our house. I was a little bummed because it was a rainy day so we couldn’t set up much outside and it was pretty dark for trying to take pictures inside. But it all turned out perfect. And our little guy seemed to really enjoy his lumberjack birthday party, which was the most important thing.
Pretty much everything for the party I bought from Amazon or Etsy. Party planning all started when I found the perfect invitations. Then I bought the wood tablecloth (also really wishing I had gotten this plaid runner), happy birthday banner, and the tree cupcake toppers. For the perfect touch I also picked up wood cutlery and wood paper plates. I had cookies made by a local Atlanta baker, who did an amazing job, and I picked up a cake and cupcakes from Publix! For the party Tripp wore a a special plaid one shirt and he changed into a little smash cake outfit with a plaid bow tie for cake! And of course we couldn’t forget a party hat.
Thank you to all of our friends and family who came for Tripp’s lumberjack birthday party, and to all of you for your kind words on his birthday! I still can not believe our sweet boy is one and pretty much a toddler. Like slow down already. What are some of your favorite birthday party themes for babies? Tell me all about them below!
