Last week I chatted with you guys about natural beauty products, and today I’m talking skincare again but switching things up. I’m excited to talk about the best luxury skincare products on the market, all from Lionesse. Before we get started I just need to say that yes, these are pricey. I know. But if you have the funds, they are 100% worth the extra cost. After all, what’s more important to take care of and invest in than your face? Even I was certain I was going to report back that they weren’t in the cost. What in the world makes one serum several hundred dollars more than another. Certainly they do the same thing, right? Wrong. I’ve used three different products from Lionesse for a few weeks now and I’m convinced that they are worth every single penny that they cost. Plus the bottles are real pretty on my counter top. Here are the ones that have really changed my skin:
At first I had no idea what this was. A peel? A face wash? Well the White Pearl Facial Peeling goes in a category of its own. This product is to be used after washing and drying your face, and before applying anything. You massage it on your skin for 30 seconds, and the little pearls in it start to pick up your dead skin. It does feel like a peel as you see the dead skin come up except that your skin doesn’t actually peel off at all. It leaves my skin feeling super clean, smooth, and refreshed. I have big pores and feel like it’s hard to really clean in there but this does the trick!
I’m not big on using masks. I generally feel like they are time consuming and don’t make a big difference on my skin. But with this mask, you feel a difference from the second you start applying it. Because it gets warm. I have no idea how it happens, but it does and it’s great. Plus the mask is pretty. It has almost a pearlescent glow to it. I feel like my skin is sparkling when I have it on, and also when I wash off this mask, but not in an oily way. It’s also super soft and the only thing that is weird to me is that the mask doesn’t dry. It stays sticky on your face, and I guess the only other masks I use that don’t dry are the ones with sheets over them. So this is a new concept to me. But I don’t hate it and I’m really glad that the mask has become a part of my skincare routine.
I’m a big fan of serums. Ever since I started using one twice a day my skin has looked more radiant and youthful. I didn’t think it could get better, until the white pearl vitamin C serum fell into my hands. But this serum is different. It’s more intense than others, which is why you are only supposed to use it 2-3 times per week. I also only use it at night, because it does feel oily on my skin and as I have super oily skin I don’t want to do anything to accentuate that problem. When I apply the serum overnight I wake up to no discoloration, less fine lines, and all around more healthy looking skin. And while yes it is pricey, you use it 2 times a week (and a little goes a long ways) and the shelf life on the product is 2 years so it should last a long time!
What luxury skincare products do you think are worth splurging on? Or have you invested inthem? Tell me all about it below!
These products sound amazing!
I love good skincare products! These sound amazing!
I’ve used La Mer before and thought it was definitely worth the money. I need to look into this brand!
This post! I am obsessed. As a 27-yr-old mom of toddlers that is just now starting to freak out about doing damage control on my skin, it’s hard to pick products that are worth splurging on. Because I’m so new to even entertaining the thought of having a skincare regimen… I am a former wash-my-face-once-at-night/take-off-my-makeup kind of girl. Thank you for sharing these products! I think I need to add a mask or at least something to my routine (or lack thereof)!
My face needs some MAJOR tlc! I’ll totally be checking this brand out!
I’ve never been one for expensive skin care products. Now that I’m in my 30’s I should change that! These sound amazing.
