In almost any busy mom’s fridge you’re certain to find one thing: lunch meat. We all have it – kids want sandwiches, it’s essential for their lunches for school, and moms and dads need go to food for meals as well. Because things are so crazy this time of year, we need quick meals that work for everything from lunches at home to hosting tailgating parties. And who wants the same old sandwich every day? It’s time to make lunch meats more interesting, and here is one great way to do that.
These chicken guacamole crescent sandwiches that I made Tom and I for lunch the other day are amazing. They were so delicious, and perfect for when we are hosting friends for things like game days as well! And let’s be honest – the most important part of a recipe like this is the meat! That’s why I only use a new type of lunch meat I just discovered. Smithfield Prime Fresh Delicatessen meats bring hand carved flavor home in innovative packaging that keeps the meat fresh for longer. It’s packed full of flavor, and oh so good.
So to make these here’s what you need:

Here’s what you do:
A recipe like this is pretty easy to explain. I mean it’s pretty much just assembly. Start by opening up that crescent roll. Layer two slices of the chicken breast on the bottom of the crescent. Next layer the fried egg. Spread guacamole on top of egg and top with green onions. Serve and enjoy!!
This is such an easy recipe that is sure to impress anyone or just be a nice personal treat. What’s great about recipes like this is it’s easy to adapt to the number of people you need to serve – whether it’s 1 or 20!
