Finding fun weekend activities in new places - today’s was courtesy of Panda Express’s new kids activity site Panda Cub Club! It has dozens of fun activities for kids and families from coloring pages to recipes! We did the Dragon Boat activity which pays homage to the Dragon Boat Festival, a Chinese holiday that was on June 25th this year. It was so much fun to do this while eating the yummy @officialpandaexpress takeout we picked up too. What do you think of her dragon boat? Tom is dad #goals. Always willing to stop what he’s doing to play a game with them, or snuggle a baby while he’s on conference calls. Has breakfast with the kids every day before work and used his lunch break to hang out with them a lot of days too. Never complains about changing a dirty diaper and handles bath time and reads them all books every night, even if he still has to work more once they get to sleep. He works so hard and it’s all to give these guys the best of everything. Happy Father’s Day to Tom and ALL the amazing dads out there!

What our summer has looked like so far! So thankful this little dude LOVES the pool. But also taking 4 kids to the pool is hard 😂 need to find a nanny to come with me during the week ASAP but also need to talk Tom into thinking that’s a necessity 🤔#momlife

This week has been hard. In so many different ways

This week has been hard. In so many different ways. I feel like my heart has been shattered several times over different things and just when I’m pulling back together again something else happens. Unplugged family time and s’mores around the fire pit are def called for.

It doesn’t feel right to post about anything oth

It doesn’t feel right to post about anything other than the current events of our country going on right now. It’s pretty obvious that I’m white, and I fully acknowledge my inherent white privilege and therefore it’s impossible for me to know the plight of persons of color in our country. I’m heartbroken by what happened to George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and the many other lives senselessly lost because of deep systematic racism in our country. I’m also learning every day how I can be a better ally, and a better resistor of injustice. I make mistakes but I’m here to learn. There’s nothing else I can really add besides telling persons of color that I see you, I know you’re hurting and although I’ll never be able to fully understand the depth of your pain I’m grieving alongside you and want to walk with you and be here for you. #blacklivesmatter
