If you follow me on anything you know that this was a very special weekend for my family – my husband Tom’s 28th birthday! We had a weekend full of celebrations and quality family time. My mom was visiting from Germany Wednesday – Sunday and we enjoyed her company as well. She was able to take Maddie Grace to her swim lesson on Thursday morning which was a lot of fun.
Teething. Is. The. Worst.
MG clearly just wanted a party to ring in daddy’s birthday with. So Tom spent his whole birthday utterly exhausted and fighting sleep. We tried to go to a nice dinner that night but were so tired we ended up celebrating with cake and presents and then just grabbing a quick dinner and running to Kroger where we bought Hyland’s Teething Tablets
Saturday Tom’s parents and sister, and my brother. came over and we all went to Sweetwater Brewery together, except Tom’s mom and MG who stayed at our house. We had a really fun time. Afterwards we went to dinner at one of Tom’s favorite restaurants.
Sunday I did some shopping with my mom before she headed back to Savannah, and after that we had a little family movie watching party before dinner with some new friends from our church small group. I also gave Tom his big birthday present from me on Sunday, a Sony Blu-Ray Player (we haven’t even had a DVD player for some time now) and some blu-ray movies that we are loving.
I’m excited to see what is in store for us this week! It’s supposed to be gross weather in Atlanta once again, we are anxiously awaiting some sunshine and warmth!
Sounds like you still had a pretty great weekend despite being exhausted. I wish I had some teething tips for you but the only tips I have on that subject matter are related to dogs teething lol!

We did! Haha do you try similar medicines?
I remember the teething stages with my babies. Unfortunately, I can't remember which remedies worked best. I just received my first Blu-ray player last year. Happy belated birthday to your husband.
