The big basketball games are upon us and I’ve come up with a couple ideas that are great for serving at your game watching get together! These party food ideas use fun new products from Cheez-It, Grooves and Crunch’d. I love Cheez-It because they are dedicated to using only 100% real cheese, which is baked into every cracker.
The main dish I’m showing you is the Groovy Crisp Chicken Cake, perfect for a main course option to chow down on while watching games. I’ve made this recipe for 2 large chicken breasts which will end up serving around 4 people, so adjust it depending on how many you will be serving. This is a great main dish that is sure to impress and please your guests
Here’s what you need:
-2 Large Boneless Chicken Breasts
-2 Large Eggs
-1 Cup Cheddar Cheez-It Grooves
-1 10.5 Ounce Can Cream of Chicken Soup
Here’s what you do:
(1) Preheat oven to 400° F. Spread cream of chicken soup in the bottom of a glass baking dish.
(2) Crush Cheez-It Grooves into pieces in a large bowl or pan. Mix eggs in a large bowl
(3) Coat chicken breasts in egg, then dip into Groove pieces and make sure pieces coat the chicken well.
(4) Lay chicken on top of soup in baking dish. press any remaining Groove pieces onto of chicken, then drizzle the remaining egg over the chicken.
(5) Bake 25-30 minutes, until bubbling and chicken is cooked through.
Yummy. My husband definitely approved of this recipe.
Another great easy snack for serving during the games is this Crunch’d Snack Mix. All I did was throw together a bag of Cheez-It Crunch’d with some pretzels and bagel chips and I had a seriously delicious and addicting snack for munching on!
What are you doing for the basketball games? I’d love to know!
Wowza – they look amazing! I love the cheez-its idea! We don't get them in the UK but I am sure I can find something similar! Thanks for posting 🙂
