Well since it’s the second day of April I figure I should finally post about my new favorite subscription service, Rocksbox, and what they sent me for my March box. Rocksbox is a subscription service for jewelry. It costs $19.00 a month and you get sent 3 designer jewelry pieces (average total value of the jewelry will be around $150-$200) on loan based on your profile and things you let your stylist know you want on your #wishlist. Each month they give you $10 in Shine Spend that you can use towards buying pieces from your box, which they allow you to buy at a reduced price if you so wish. Want a coupon code to try a box for FREE (no strings)? Use the code:
cervinoxoxo
This code is only good through April 23rd (then it works for 50% off your first box though) so make sure you go use it! Now let’s get into the contents of my first box:
Well
first off let me note that I just love the packaging. These boxes are
cute and I used it to store all 3 pieces in the whole month to make sure I didn’t
lose them and knew right where they were so it would be easy to get
them all together and send them back when the time came, which I guess is upon us since it’s been a month. That is one thing I’ll note – I haven’t received any reminder or been told a date I need to send it back by so hopefully it’s okay that I’m sending it this late and they don’t think I want to keep all 3 pieces.

First up is this Perry Street Isla Necklace. It retails for $64 but Insiders can purchase it from Rocksbox for $51. At first I didn’t like it, but it has seriously grown on me. I don’t really have any necklaces that are hot pink or this style. It’s a lot easier to pair with outfits than I thought it would be, and is just something different than any other necklaces I own or really see, and I always like being a little different.
Next is the Perry Street Abby Necklace in Blue, which also retails for $64 but has an Insiders’ price of $51. This is the piece I was most excited about when I opened my box. It is definitely my style, and I love love love the colors in it. I must say that I already own several necklaces similar in style to this one though, but I love it – it’s definitely “me”.
And last up are the earrings. These are Urban Gem Pave Ball Studs in gold, which retail at $60 and Insiders can buy for $48. I don’t hate them but I don’t love them. I already have some that are very similar to this that I never wear. They kind of look like something I would have worn in middle or high school, not now in my mid-upper 20’s.
Overall I love the concept of Rocksbox. I’m someone who enjoys buying high end designer jewelry and I spend over $19 a month on jewelry, so to me this service is worth it because I get to wear several awesome pieces for less than I usually spend on one, send them back right around when I start to get tired of them and get 3 new designer pieces! You also get to send your stylist messages directly so I’ve requested Kendra Scott earrings for next month (fingers crossed) and no more stud earrings, and I mentioned that I’d like to try a bracelet.
I need to go ahead and get this box back SOON so I’m on the fence! I’m definitely not keeping the earrings but am torn about both necklaces. I have a lot of necklaces similar in style to the blue Abby necklace but none the same colors and I think it’s a great piece, but the pink Isla necklace I have nothing quite like and it has really grown on me! Think I should keep either or send them all back? Let me know PLEASE!
I like the Perry Street Abby necklace best!
I think I do too 😉
