Another great weekend come and gone. When are these weekends going to start lasting longer? I love them so much, but they do leave me absolutely exhausted. So maybe it’s a good thing we only get two days.
Friday night we did nothing, which is my favorite type of Friday night. Saturday we slept in and had a lazy morning, but made up for it with the rest of our day. We hit up the Taste of Tucker which was going on close to where we live. We tried some yummy bites from different area restaurants, danced to the live band playing, and then headed home.
It was sunny and in the upper 70’s so MG and I both put on some Lilly Pulitzer before we left the house. I’m loving this Sydney Caftan that Lilly Pulitzer sent me – it covers my belly perfectly, I can pair it with jeans or shorts next spring and summer, and helps me channel some tropical vibes. Who cares if it’s October? Lilly resort-wear can be worn all year round (hence the hashtag #resort365).
After a quick outfit change we headed to the Trunk or Treat at Maddie Grace’s school. I wasn’t expecting it to be much, but it was awesome. There were about 20 car trunks that were all-out decorated, 2 food trucks, face painting, bouncy castles, and there was a great turnout. Maddie Grace absolutely loved trunk-or-treating – we couldn’t get her to say “trick or treat!” despite trying pretty hard, but at every one she happily grabbed some candy, smiled, and said “tank ew!’ before running to the next one. Of course halfway through she decided she needed to start eating her candy while she got more candy though and to avoid a breakdown we let her. Now her candy is safely hidden for special treats and for Tom and I to collect “taxes” on. After Trunk or Treat one of Tom’s friends and my brother came over for dinner and then we went and grabbed ice cream.
Sunday we had full intentions of making it to church at 9:30, as always, and ended up actually showing up for the 11:15 service, as usual. We had lunch after with some friends, and then really stretched how long Maddie Grace can go without a nap and went to Goblins in the Garden at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
Looks like fun! Those tops look so comfy!
It was! Thank you!!

Thank you!!!
I love it! Your weekend definitely did seem eventful and I can see how it can be a little draining haha. Your top is adorable! I'll have to check them out, especially since my belly is only getting bigger from here on out.
Thank you!!! So much fun to dress a bump 😉
It looks like you had a great weekend! XOXO
We did 😉
I'm OBSESSED with LP! I wear my "summer" dresses even in the fall with a cardigan. They are just so perfect. I love that y'all both wore your Lilly together. So cute!
Thank you! Yes it's the best!!!
This is cute and I didn't realize you were pregnant until now- Congrats! I bought Arden the same dress MG is wearing from the Lilly summer sale- it's a 4t so she can wear it next summer. Gotta plan ahead, right?! Cheers! xo
Thank you 🙂 I do the same thing – Von Maur always has Lilly on sale so I stocked up for next summer!
Omg, you and your family are too adorable.
Looks like y'all had a fun weekend.

Thank you 🙂
Love the Lilly outfits! Also, Trunk or Treats are so much fun, I am always surprised by how creative people can get with not just the trunk but the whole car itself. Glad yall had such a fun weekend!
