I love running, and running in races gives me something to train and push myself towards. Since I’m entering the third trimester of pregnancy I’m not signing up for any runs in the near future. But my husband is a hardcore runner and has a big half-marathon coming up in under two weeks. Even when I’m not running myself I like to go to his runs to cheer him on. He works really hard on training for these races and I know he appreciates seeing me and Maddie Grace when he finishes them. I try to make it extra sweet by bringing him what I call a Runner’s Relief Goody Bag – aka a bag with some special treats for him to enjoy when he’s done and completely exhausted.
My go-to’s when I make bags for Tom include snacks, muscle rub, and some type of drink to help him rehydrate! The snacks I always grab are bananas and goodnessknows® snack squares.
