If there is one thing I need all the help I can get with, it’s organization. And our garage has been struggling for some time now. We have so much… junk. Stuff that we want to hold on to for future use but can’t figure out the best way to store. Then when we actually need it we can never find it so we don’t even know what we have. And I have a feeling we aren’t the only people like this!
So we made it our goal to get our garage organized, throw away the stuff that is complete junk, and figure out what we can sell to clear up room as well. Because let’s be honest, I don’t need all 10 of these strollers.
Eek. That’s not even all of them.
Beach chairs, decorations, inflatable pools, umbrellas, tools, equipment, toys… you name it, we probably have it in our garage!
The Rubbermaid® FastTrack® Garage Organization System makes it ridiculously easy to clean up and organize your garage! There are many different pieces you can buy as a part of this system and you can pick and choose what you buy to add on to it. We ended up purchasing the Rubbermaid® FastTrack® 48 inch Wall Panel, Rubbermaid® FastTrack®Wall Hardware Pack, Rubbermaid® FastTrack®48 Inch Rails, Rubbermaid® FastTrack®Rail Hardware Pack, Rubbermaid® FastTrack®utility bin, Rubbermaid® FastTrack® large shelf, and two sets of Rubbermaid® FastTrack® Large Hooks (2 pk).
They’re so simple to install! All you do is:
(1) Use a drill to pre-drill studs on the wall where you want the panel to hang. Screw the panel into the studs of the wall. You can lay panels side by side or on top of each other for how much stuff you want to store on it.
(2) Decide where you want your rail to go. For us it made sense to install it over the panel. Use a drill to pre-drill holes into the studs and then screw into the studs.
(3) Snap the cover over the rail.
(4) Add the accessories you picked out to go with the system.
You’ll find Rubbermaid FastTrack at The Home Depot.
When it’s this easy to clean up your garage you’ll have more time for things like this:
