Lately I’ve had a hard time finding time for me – for working out, relaxing, or meditation. Mostly because I’m always chasing a toddler and holding a baby on my hip. The solution? Babywearing yoga. It relaxes, calms, strengthens, and resets. Plus I can do it at home. Practicing yoga and focusing on mind, body, and spirit, also ties into the natural lifestyle I’ve been trying to keep me and my family in line with, as do some of my favorite new products from Mother Dirt. So here are my favorite babywearing yoga poses, but certainly not the only ones that can be done:
(1) Tree Pose
(2) Forward Fold
(2) Warrior 2
(3) Warrior 1
And of course sometimes your toddler wants to jump in too…
Maddie Grace has yoga at her preschool and now she’s always wanting to do downward dog, or ‘upside down’ as she calls it.
As part of wanting to get into a more natural lifestyle and do all things that are better for our bodies I’ve been working hard to ditch products with nasty chemicals in them, but want to find products that still work. That’s why I was really intrigued to try Mother Dirt‘s AO+ Mist, Cleanser and Shampoo – all of which have delivered awesome results. These products help to maintain a balanced microbiome on the skin – they can help balance oil production (for oily or dry skin), soothe skin, and even help with body odor! Bacteria are a natural part of the human ecosystem so instead of getting rid of bacteria Mother Dirt has figured out how to embrace bacteria and use it in ways that make lives of both men and women better!
I’m blown away by all the uses of the AO+ Mist. My favorite ways to use it are spraying it on my scalp after washing my hair which keeps my hair from getting oily quickly, and spraying it on my underarms after showering for odor control. And the facial cleanser immediately became my new favorite face wash! It has the best feeling when you use it so I know it’s working, and it really clears out my pores.
What products have you switched out for natural ones? I’d love to hear all about it in the comments!
