Anyone who knows me knows that I like bracelets. In particular I like silver, smaller bracelets that I can stack on my wrist. But I’ve been missing one thing… a charm bracelet. I first fell in love with charm bracelets when my mom gave me one that belonged to my late aunt (who was only a teenager when she passed away) as a child. I always felt like that bracelet gave me a connection to the aunt I didn’t know. I kept all the charms my aunt had on that bracelet and added my own to it. A pair of ballet shoes, a flower charm that I found in London, a cheerleader… and pretty soon that bracelet had a ton of charms on it and I adored it. It still sits in my jewelry box today.
As an adult I’ve wanted to find a charm bracelet to wear daily but hadn’t found one that really fit my style and didn’t drive me crazy with all the clanking until I came across Links of London and their Sweetie bracelet. Designed after the candy bracelets we wore as children, the Sweetie bracelet is really unlike any charm bracelet I’ve ever seen. It’s gorgeous, classy, and sentimental when you add on the charms that mean something special to you. The bracelet comes in different sizes and the size small even fit my ridiculously small wrists. I also like that the way the bracelet is designed it stays still on your wrist and the charms don’t move much which is what drives me crazy about traditional charm bracelets.
I love the wide selection of charms Links of London has. I ended up picking this gorgeous compass charm to signify the importance of both travel and knowing where home is in my life. I also picked the Amulet 18K Rose Vermeil Self Discovery Charm because I thought it was gorgeous, I loved that it had amulet in the name because my daughter is obsessed with amulets, and because the journey of self-discovery is really a theme of my life over the last year. Since I had a charm that reminded me of my daughter I also needed one to remind me of my son, so I picked out the reindeer bauble that reminds me of a baby rattle and signifies getting this bracelet for his first Christmas. There are tons of other charms you can also choose from to make your bracelet as special as possible!
And now is the time to buy a bracelet whether for yourself or as a gift for a special someone. Until 11/28 everything from Links of London is 25% off and it doesn’t get better than that!
I’m usually not into charm bracelets because I haven’t found too many modern ones. I LOVE this one though! Definitely a lot more youthful than most others!
This is so sweet, what each charm means to you. I love charm bracelets too!
This is beautiful!
