WIth so many holiday events going on, I’ve had to be able to come up with some easy but still yummy lunch foods to have on hand. Whether to send the kids with to school, or to throw on a tray for easy lunching when we have visitors, there have been plenty of reasons to keep what I need for these around the house. That’s why I came up with this easy lunch dish of chili chicken slider. It’s quick enough to whip up in a couple of minutes if guests come, and I can keep leftover sauce in the fridge making it really easy to throw them together for school fr other events we have going up. Thanks to Curly’s I don’t even have to bother with making the chicken but it’s still delicious and always a hit!
Here’s what you need:
1 Package Curly’s Sauceless Pulled Chicken
1 15 Oz Can Tomato Sauce
1 8 Oz Can Crushed Tomatoes
2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
1 15Oz Can Corn, Drained
24 Hawaiian Rolls
1 Cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Here’s what you do:
(1) In a sauce pan combine the tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, chili seasoning, and corn. Stir well and heat over medium heat 5-10 minutes. Allow to simmer an additional 5 minutes.
(2) On Hawaiian rolls layer chicken (heated), sauce, and top with a little cheese.
(3) Serve and enjoy!
Honestly the Curly’s chicken is what makes this dish! It’s so tender and delicious and tastes like a chicken I would have spent hours making in the crock pot but really I just pulled out already fully cooked from my refrigerator! You’ll find Curly’s in the refrigerated meat case at your local grocery store. If you’re looking for more delicious recipes you can find videos of some at RoadTripEats,com/videos!
