It’s funny to call this a bumpdate as though pregnancy something I’ve posted about regularly… when this is the first bumpdate I’ve posted perhaps this pregnancy? I can’t remember. I have no clue how I managed to do them every other week last pregnancy. Honestly life has been so busy I really question how it’s going to be possible to blog at all when we have 3 kids running around! And if you’re just here for family pictures we took over the holidays they are all at the bottom!

So here we go. At 34 weeks pregnant and with 2 toddlers already… I’m really tired but can never sleep because of pregnancy insomnia and heartburn. I’ve been having way more braxton hicks contractions than I remember having at this point with the first two but I’m told that’s normal. I still have bouts of nausea – especially at night and depending on what I eat. I tried to talk to my doctor today about my concerns but he was just sort of like “oh yeah all normal just rest more and drink more water” but anyone who has been in this situation knows that is easier said than done.
But on the positive side I’m really excited about how the nursery is coming along (and I’ll share that in a post soon I promise)! I can’t wait to show you guys how it all comes together. I’ve been going a little crazy buying baby clothes for the new little one too. Seriously – I’ve become just a little obsessed with shopping different resale groups on Facebook. I’m honestly done with buying maternity clothes or shopping for myself at all until post baby and thanks to some sweet friends I have plenty of maternity clothes to finish this out.
Next on my to do list? Pack a freaking hospital bag! I can’t believe I haven’t even started on that yet. And finish up some projects around the house I know I won’t want to get to when the new baby is here. Well really that means direct my husband to do projects around the house.
Luckily my husband just had off from work for over a week and a half and I took full advantage of time to relax and hang out with our little family! I didn’t do nearly as much as I had planned but I sort of like it that way. I crammed a lot of holiday activities in before the holidays, quite possibly too many, and we were all ready to just bum around the house for a week. And since it’s been so cold here we really didn’t leave the house much at all.
I’m definitely looking forward to the kids starting back to school next week (even if they only go 2-3 days a week for 4 hours, they need routine) and getting back to normal… for a few weeks until we have a new normal! Hope everyone who reads and supports this blog of mine had an amazing holiday and new year – I’m so thankful for all of you!

You have a beautiful family and congrats on adding one more to the bunch! The hospital bag gets me every time but I am glad you are excited about the nursery! Congrats mama!
I love your huge rocker. My glider is far too narrow when all the kids start to pile on me for stories. Maybe it’s time for an upgrade 🙂
What a beautiful family you have 🙂 Looks like you guys have had fun.
I love watching your pictures, You have such a beautiful family. Cannot wait to see the new addition in the Family.
Congrats on your cute little bump. Baby number 3 definitely adds to the tired level for any mama…but they are sooo worth it:)
