Thank you Chicco for sponsoring this post. Regardless all thoughts and opinions are my own and I only recommend products I truly love.
While expecting Millie we had a few things to figure out. Things like which kid would have which room. Should any kids share rooms? How to set up the car. Would Tripp transfer to a big boy bed before the baby came? Where would baby sleep? How were we ever going to travel again? All these things may seem pretty minor but were giving me a ton of anxiety.
This last weekend we had to figure out one of the last remaining one of these for us to figure out… traveling with all 3 kids. And you know what? We survived. And it really wasn’t that bad. Difficult at times? Sure. But with Tom there to help, and my dad if we needed an extra pair of hands, we were fine. The hardest part was Monday of our trip when both Tom and my dad were at work.
I was worried that my dad’s house wouldn’t have the convenience of having all the baby things we have at our house to make handling a newborn easier which would make traveling difficult. However, we brought along a product that took care of several things and made being at dad’s house a breeze! This product is the Chicco FastAsleep Playard. Chicco is huge in the baby gear world and I trust that after 50 years of manufacturing baby gearso I trust they know what they are doing.
Chicco’s new FastAsleep playard is expertly engineered for tackling travel with little ones. My two favorite things about the playcard are how easy it is to put together (no assembly required!) and that it has multiple functions: we used it as a changing table, a place for baby to nap or just hang out while I chased the other kids, and as a crib. The playard has zip and wash fabrics which is essential when on the go and has a convenient carry bag! The FastAsleep is available online at ChiccoUsa.com and in stores for just $179.99! There is also a streamlined Go version of the playard available for $149.99.
So now the question is – where should we travel to next? I’d love to hear ideas for family friendly destinations below!
