*Thank you Bed Bath & Beyond for sponsoring this post. Regardless all thoughts and opinions are my own and I only work with brands I truly love.
Obviously as a mom I know the benefits of online shopping. I can order things from my bed and they arrive at the door. Winning, right? Sometimes – but other times I end up with things that are not at all as I expected them to be. And then I really regret what I’ve purchased. That’s why there are several things that I absolutely will not buy online and highly recommend shopping for in store. One of my favorite places to shop in store for home items is Bed Bath & Beyond. My local store, the Alpharetta location, is huge and has so much to check out! Anyways here are the items I recommend shopping for in store:
A fancy coffee maker is a big investment and a major staple piece in the kitchen. Not only is it for yourself – but for your family and even for serving guests when they stop by. I think this is one item you should definitely try before you buy and at Bed Bath & Beyond you can do just that. The Alpharetta store has a whole setup of several popular coffee makers that you can try out, even with hot chocolate pods for the kids, and a table to sit down and enjoy your drink while you shop. And if you like the pods you try pick up a box of those as well!
I can’t be the only one who has bought bedding only and been sorely disappointed when it arrives. You can never tell the fluffiness, or softness, when shopping online. It’s really something you need to feel with your own hands to decide what you want. If you’re like me your bed is one of your favorite places so you want it to be the best it can be. At my local Bed Bath & Beyond you can check out all the different bedding fabrics they have to offer and then order online to ship to your house or the store! This way you see how I looks and feels in person, and there are a TON to choose from!
I love finding unique and different, one of a kind type accent pieces to have around the home. And I love that now Bed Bath, & Beyond has a whole section of just this! The day I went there were all types of things – end tables, benches, tables, pillows, mirrors, and so much more. These are all limited so if you see something you love you have to buy it right away because there’s a good chance it won’t be there when you go back!
Once I bought a picture frame online and when it arrived the color was way off from what I was expecting, and there was cracks in the wood. I was so sad! When shopping for picture frames you need to see how they look in real life as they are going to be hanging on your walls for everyone to see! Bed Bath & Beyond has so many good ones -from collages to giant sized ones they’ll have what you are looking for.
What home store visit is complete without fun, unique food that you can’t find just anywhere? My Bed Bath & Beyond location has a whole section of food from around the world that you can’t find just anywhere! I got guacamole chips from Mexico and some unicorn cookies from Germany and my whole family loved them.
One of my favorite benefits of shopping in store is how much fun it can be! I love getting out of the house, browsing what all there is, and just goofing off with the kids while we are out shopping! Have you ever had an online ordering fail? I want to hear about it below!!!
