If you know anything about me, your probably now that I love everything baby – and might have a slight obsession with baby products. I’m also a big fan of connecting with other moms, and all things breastfeeding, cloth diapering, and baby wearing. That’s why MommyCon is one of my all time favorite events. A whole day devoted to all of these things? Sign me up!
I went to MommyCon last year for the first time and it was absolutely amazing. Understandably my emotions went from super excited to super bummed to see that MommyCon was coming to Atlanta again this year (!!!)… on February 6th (my due date for baby #2 is January 21st). So I’m not 100% sure on the logistics of it, whether I’ll actually be able to make it, or whether I’ll just go and have my husband sit outside in the car with the babies so I can run back and forth – but I’m pretty determined to make it to MommyCon again this year and am very much looking forward to it.
Thinking about attending MommyCon in any of the cities this year? Use code CASUALCLAIRE16 for $5 off your ticket! Here are the cities MommyCon is coming to in 2016:
Atlanta [February 6th – almost sold out so HURRY!]
Chicago [March 5th]
Seattle [April 2nd]
Austin [June 25th]
DC [July 23rd]
Orange County [August 20th]
Orlando [September 3rd]
San Jose [October 29th]
Basically MommyCon has several speakers going on all day presenting a variety of topics, and vendor booths with both big name brands and local baby product makers. I loved visiting the booths and talking to the vendors about what they had, and seeing what cool products were coming out in the future. Moms are encouraged to bring (and wear) their babies, although strollers aren’t allowed. The speaker rooms all had toys in the back so babies will be plenty occupied.
MommyCon Atlanta costs $45 for general admission ($40 with code ‘CASUALCLAIRE16’) and every attendee of MommyCon gets an awesome goodie bag full of great baby products to try out. In addition, every attendee has the option of signing up for special VIP sessions that meet the day before. These do cost extra but each one gives away amazing products at them that are related to the theme of the session and worth well over what the session costs.
The Atlanta schedule has been released and there are so many speakers I’m excited about! I mean whether you’re wanting to learn more about cloth diapering, natural childbirth, baby wearing, potty training, or more – there’s a class for that. Oh and the best part? The last session of the day where all the hottest baby gear is presented and then pretty much all given away to MommyCon attendees.
So yeah – I’m pretty pumped for MommyCon this year. Want to win 2 tickets to MommyCon in the city of your choice? Just enter using the form below! But if you want to make sure you get a ticket before MommyCon sells out (nudge nudge Atlanta people this is for you) go ahead and order it ASAP and don’t forget the code ‘CASUALCLAIRE16‘ to get $5 off!
