Easter is an awesome holiday if you have a toddler. Seriously – so much fun. We did a total of four egg hunts this year, two of them being on Saturday. The first two though Maddie Grace didn’t have much interest in. One she didn’t seem at all interested in collecting eggs and one she just wanted to pick up the eggs and throw them. But Saturday something clicked and she became an egg hunting machine. Seriously, she did not want to stop! Especially at the second egg hunt of the day which was our neighborhood egg hunt. She found 6 eggs and by that point the big kids had found all the eggs but Maddie Grace was determined to find more. She was looking all over for the eggs but sadly wasn’t finding any.
Since Maddie Grace was so infatuated with egg hunts Tom even set one up for her in our house Sunday morning as it was a rainy day here. And it was a big hit. She wasn’t even interested in the candy or the other goodies the Easter bunny brought her, all Maddie Grace wanted was to find those dang eggs. Afterwards we headed up to Tom’s parents house for some more Easter celebrating. Maddie Grace loved looking for eggs at their house too, eating food, and having some play time with grandma and grandpa! Also can you believe she wore the same dress this year that she did last year? Oh sweet little baby Maddie Grace…
And how much has changed!
I’m completely in love with the dress I wore for Easter. It’s super comfortable, budget friendly (for a Lilly dress), the cutest Lilly print, and has buttons down the top making it completely breastfeeding friendly. If you are a breastfeeding mama who likes to dress cute, or really any woman who likes to dress cute, go get it. Now.
This week I’m focusing on getting my blog transferred to WordPress.org (if you’re a blogger you know what a big task this is), as well as shopping for items for our spring pictures and Disney trip, which are both in a few weeks! I’m thinking I need this Trina Turk one-piece for the resort pool. I’m thinking I’ll do a coral theme for our pictures and eyeing this sport shirt for the husband, maybe a breastfeeding friendly dress like this if I can find one, and this darling dress for Maddie Grace. Or maybe for me I’ll splurge and pump and bring a bottle so I can wear this beauty. Decisions, decisions…
Oh my goodness, her face in that first picture, priceless! Looks like a wonderful holiday!
