This year I decided to go with something a little different and made ornament ornament Christmas cards from Minted and am obsessed with how they turned out and wanted to do a quick post on them for anyone who hasn’t ordered their Christmas/Holiday cards yet.
And for any friends or family who haven’t gotten one yet I had to order more stamps but they are coming your way as soon as I get them haha. I love the idea of ornament cards so that people have a practical use for your card and it doesn’t just get thrown away. Is it a little narcissistic to think people want our faces hanging on their trees? Probably, but I’m okay with that.
I thought these turned out so pretty. The paper is pretty thick (and I did the pearl paper for some extra shine) and I loved that I could add a picture on the back as well. I’m a little verbose so I did a separate sheet also from Minted for a little family update which fit nicely in the envelopes. I love that Minted addresses envelopes for free and for a fee they print the return address as well. The ornament cards come with a really pretty ribbon that Maddie Grace enjoyed helping me tie on the ornaments. And the red foil on these cards has the prettiest extra shine. I know I’m biased but I do think they are actually really pretty on the Christmas tree if people want to use them or also would be pretty on the fridge with all the other cards! You can find them here if you want to try ornament cards this year!
