*Thank you BabbleBoxx for sponsoring this post. Regardless all thoughts and opinions are my own and I only recommend products I truly love.
If you’ve followed me or my blog for a while you know that my family and I spend a ton of time outdoors over the summer. We are always at the pool, playing tennis, at the park, hiking, traveling, or just doing whatever as long as we are OUTSIDE. Although with the more kids we have the less adventurous we get (and free time we have), we still are always out and about even if it’s just then kids exploring our yard to catch fireflies at night. But as fun as summer is, as a mom this can be a very taxing time of year. In honor of that, I want to share with you some of the products getting my family and I through this season. So here are my summer must haves for moms (and as a veteran mom I feel pretty confident in recommending these):
Ultra Swim Shampoo
This is something we keep in stock all summer for washing the kids hair with (and mine) after swimming in the pool because it is the absolute best when it comes to chlorine removal in hair. It makes hair soft, clean, manageable, and smells so good! Plus if you have a blondie it keeps the green away. If you don’t use Ultra Swim you are probably all too familiar with swimmer’s hair – that knotted frizzy hair that breaks easily or even gets stuck on the bows of your kids swimsuit (it’s happened multiple times here). Keep your kids hair looking good and nix the fighting tangles with the hairbrush after swimming with Ultra Swim. You can find it on the Ultra Swim website here!
Energy Stix from 4C
Okay summer is insane. I’m constantly driving my kids to a million activities, trying to prepare for other ones, trying to make sure my kids do some educational stuff, trying to do fun activities and make memories, trying to work some, and it basically feels like it hasn’t slowed down at all and I’m running on fumes. I absolutely LOVE Energy Stix from 4C. These are about 1/2 the cost of Red Bull but with the same amount of energy (woop!). They are sugar free, and come in easy packets making it perfect to mix with water on the go. And best of all it tastes good so I genuinely enjoy it. Make sure you check this out on the 4C website here!
Liquid Bandages from New Skin
Although I’m still pretty awful at it, tennis has been my life this summer. Between team practice, small group practices, doubles matches, and mixed doubles. I’ve been playing a lot. And with playing more I’ve been getting so many blisters on my feet. It takes me back to my days of being a ballerina. And what did we use for feet blisters when ballet was my life? Liquid Bandages from New Skin. So that’s what I’ve been reaching for again. Unlike adhesive bandages Liquid Bandages can be brushed on wherever you need and prevent infections, seals out water, dirt & germs, and helps heal cuts, all while killing 99.9% of germs. And best of all since it’s waterproof you can apply it and not worry about it coming off in the pool or at the beach. Unlike when I was in high school they now also offer New Skin Sensitive, the first hypoallergenic bandage, and New Skin Botanicals, the first and only bandage enriched with natural ingredients. You can find New Skin on Amazon or Walmart!
Pamprin Multi-Symptom
If you are a mom you probably know some of the distinct annoyances that come with being a woman. Bloating, moodiness, headaches, cramps. and more. Pamprin not only releases period pain but also treats all these other awful symptoms we deal with during that time of the month. I know my least favorite symptom is the bloating and Pampering Multi-Symptom makes it sooooo much better. I will never not have this on hand again! You’ll find this miracle product on the Pamprin website here!
There you have it. Some new and old products that I need to get through the summer season every year. What’s on your list?
