The weather here is gorgeous, and it’s officially fall, so I decided it was time to have a pumpkin play date at our house with some friends. We went all out – pumpkin scones, cupcakes, waffles, and I found some supplies for pumpkin painting for the kids. Some friends of ours with another 2 year old and an itty bitty baby came over to join in on the fun, and we had a great time.
The key to pulling off messy treats and a craft was all in the high chairs we used. The Chicco Polly Progres5 5-in-1 Multichair was great because the kids varied in ages and this seat adapts to work for children from newborn to elementary-aged. It can be a newborn recliner, full-featured infant highchair, toddler booster, big kid booster, and a youth stool. In fact you could purchase one high chair and have a baby in the infant highchair and an older kid using the booster. It’s pretty much the best baby purchase you’ll make it when it comes to eating. And unlike other high chairs we have this one folds up to be super compact and take up almost no space which is great for those of us with cluttered houses!
I’ve used several high chairs and this one tops the chart in my book. The recline is so easy to use, so if a kid falls asleep while eating (like Maddie Grace often does) you can recline them back and leave them there. The 5 point safety harness is incredibly secure and makes me feel like my kids are really safe in the seat. And for those of you expecting or with little babies you’ve got to get the Polly Progres5 Relax Multichair which comes with comes with a detachable toy bar – no more having to lean over to put baby in an infant seat and it can be wheeled around the house!
I think the moms and kids had a great time and loved that the kids were content eating and crafting in their seats. And who doesn’t love pumpkin everything this time of year?
You’ll find the Polly Progres5 Multichair at Chiccoshop.com and Babies “R” Us and Chicco Polly Progres5 5-in-1 Multichair for $199.99! The Polly Progres5 Relax with the detachable toy bar and other deluxe features is available at buybuy BABY for $229.99. But one of you can win this amazing highchair!. I’d love this for my 6 month old. We have my two-year-old in the booster seat from her old high chair, and she isn’t quite ready to transition into a kitchen chair (we have a high pub table). We are kind of stuck with where to go next, so this would be WONDERFUL!
