5. Easy lunches. I kid you not – there have been many days where I’ve been so busy I haven’t gotten a chance to eat lunch. But you don’t have to sacrifice quality to have an easy lunch! Campbell’s Slow Kettle Soup is a life changer. They are so easy to make but still delicious.
I end up eating these soups all over the house as I chase around my very active and mobile 8 month old. Good thing I can put the lid on and carry it around! On rare days that I have a little extra time I like to make a sandwich to eat along with my soup.
I buy my soups at Walmart on the soup aisle. I heat up my soup in the microwave, although for best results Campbell’s Slow Kettle Soup should be heated on the stove.

Great post! I have so much respect for your SAHMs!!! I know I couldn't do it!
Thank you! It's hard but being a working mom is just as hard if not harder!
Your daughter is adorable! Happy New Year!
Thank you! Happy New Year to you!
Your baby is adorable! People have no idea what it's like being a stay at home mom! I'm a teacher, so by the time school starts back up, I am ready to get out of the house!
Why thank you! I think being any type of mom is hard!
Babywearing and playgroups are my saving grace!
They're great 🙂
Being a SAHM is seriously so hard!! I've done both and staying home is hands down more difficult. Especially with a baby who is pulling up and curious about everything. Those soups look good. I used to eat cheese, crackers, and a sliced Apple when I stayed home because that is all I had time to fix 🙂 haha
I think no matter what being a mom is hard! Amazing but hard!
Awe, your baby is precious! SAHMs are superheros. <3
Thank you! 🙂
Your daughter is super cute, I worked when my daughter was little but if we have another I will be a SAHM for the first time.
Thank you! I think no matter what being a mom is hard!
Your daughter is adorable! I'm glad you can wear her around the house! 🙂

Thank you!
Your little one is so cute! I can't imagine how difficult it is being a full time mum! My mum had four of us and my dad was away in a war so I know it's tough! I can't wait until it's my time though!

Thank you! Every time I think it's hard I think of all the military wives with deployed husbands and think of how hard that must be. Your mom must be a supermom!
Adorable. I just went back to work after a year of mat leave, and while it was great to be home with my 4 year old and baby… I am extremely glad to be back in the office. Being a SAHM is exhausting. Easy lunches and snacks are a must – or you just never eat!
Thanks 🙂 I think every mom just needs to find what works best for her!
I have that same top in brown 🙂 I can't wait to be a mom one day and hopefully I can be a full time mom!
great post! Soup and a sandwich is one of my go to lunches as well.. I usually make my own soup but this one looks delish!
You nailed it! And that soup looks so great for lunchtimes when I NEVER know what to feed my kids. 🙂 You have a beautiful family. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better through your blog!
Thank you! Deciding what to feed the family can be so difficult!
All props to SAHMS. It's definitely a difficult job and for those that do it without going crazy, I think the world owes you.

You guys are so cute! And I love the tips! I especially agree with the playgroup one – it's so important to get out and be social and not be cooped up at home all the time!
Thank you!!
Oh I love this post! Thank you for showing us how hard the stay at home mom job is! #client
I started bring soup to work for lunch to save money. They are super easy. In about a month I noticed all my clothes were getting baggy and when I weighted myself I lost 9 pounds. I changed nothing else in my life, so the only thing I can contribute it to is the soup. I now joke about my "soup diet".
What?!? That's awesome!!!
Oh people and their stupid needs to say dumb crap. My really good friend works full time and people always tell her that if she's a SAHM her kids will be smarter. Well, her kids learned to speak in perfect sentences at age 2 and were reading by 3. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the mom's job or lack thereof. It has everything to do with the kid's brain, and the mom's willingness to parent. People are crazy!
Yum!! Also, your baby is so cute 🙂
