Not to brag, but we had a really amazing weekend.
We didn’t go out of town, or do anything crazy, we enjoyed each other, and several friends we were able to see over the weekend, and just had fun.
Friday night we ordered take out, watched Shark Tank, and went to bed early. This is pretty typical for us. Saturday we woke up early because our goal was to accomplish a million things around the house we’ve been putting off. We failed to meet this goal, as always, but at least we got a start on several projects that maybe we will get back to working on in a few weeks and perhaps even finish by the end of Summer.
We met some friends we hadn’t seen in a while for brunch on Saturday by Piedmont Park in Atlanta and then took some time to walk around the park. We also met up with some of Tom’s fraternity brothers and all of their wives for dinner and had a great time catching up with everyone.
Sunday we actually made it to Home Depot, Walmart, and Target, which I consider quite an accomplishment. We have a ton of projects around the house we want to do, but it’s kind of hard between work and a baby to get them done. First up is painting the entire house. I have a feeling we are going to just end up hiring someone to do it because we don’t have the time. At least we are thinking about picking out colors to paint with now. We ended the weekend with church and getting ready for the week. It’s going to be an incredibly busy week for me. Between several blog posts I need to get done and going on a little trip to Charlotte/Asheville at the end of the week I may not be sleeping.
Does anyone else feel like they have a ton of projects to work on that may never get done? How do you find the time to get stuff done around the house? Let me know below!
Such adorable pictures!
Thank you! Hope your week is off to a good start!
