Note the wing sauce from MG turning Tom’s plate upside down on him.
Afterwards I told my husband we could have lunch anywhere he wanted and he picked Taco Mac which I was A-okay with. After a yummy queso filled lunch we headed home for nap time, and then I wasn’t feeling great (seriously still battling this cold) so I opted to rest while my husband took Maddie Grace up to spend some time with his dad. When they got back and after I had a little nap I was feeling much better so we headed for some night time swimming at our neighborhood pool. It was empty and we had a great time swimming and doing different things to make Maddie Grace laugh. She thought it was particularly funny when her dad did cannonballs and went underwater.
Unfortunately all great things must come to an end and a fun weekend is no different. We finally have a weekend without too many plans which hopefully allows us to catch up on some stuff. And this weekend we will be heading to Savannah to spend some quality time with my family which we are very much looking forward to.
We went glamping with the family at Flamingo Lake in Jacksonville,FL. We had a blast and it was so good being with my Daddy for Father's Day!
Sounds like so much fun 🙂 I loved all your pictures!

Aw that's a sweet Father's day! She's a beauty!
Thank you so much 🙂
It sounds like you gave him a great Father's Day. My husband and I celebrated the afternoon with his son and our daughter.
Hope you had a lovely day!
Sounds like it was a sweet day:) Sometimes the best memories are the ones we try not to make, but just let happen. (I'm total type A so I am working on this myself)
Haha yes I agree the best memories are always when we aren't expecting them anyways! But I do love to have the day planned out!
Looks like a wonderful weekend/ Father's day! Not having a schedule is the best kind of day…not always easy but still fun!!
You and my husband would get along! I live for scheduling haha!
Sounds like a great weekend and a wonderful Father's Day!! 🙂 I love having days where you don't really have anything planned, they always just seem to turn out great. It's kind of how our entire weekend went 🙂
Ahhh I'm the opposite! I love having a plan and sticking to it! But yes I can see how my husband would not want so much scheduling after a week at work!
Aw, it looks like you had a great day! It's so fun celebrating dad's!
