Tom and I have never gone all out for Valentine’s Day. We’ve always celebrated it and enjoy a night out (although probably won’t be this year) but don’t do huge gifts or anything wild for the holiday. In fact now that we are parents we celebrate it more with the kids than with each other. I think it’s such a fun day to celebrate love and relationships so it’s one of my favorite days of the year, but we are always coming off of the holidays and right in between the kids birthdays (and it’s tax season), so it’s also a time of year where we are trying to save money as much as possible. And every year despite me telling him not to, Tom gets me a gift or two for Valentine’s Day, and I always need little, affordable, gift ideas that he can get me so that I know I will like it and that whatever he gets me doesn’t break the bank.
This year I scoped out Shop LC for some ideas to send to Tom. Shop LC has all types of awesome jewelry and lifestyle products that fit into any budget and fashion taste. I was able to find so much stuff that I loved, and for prices that I knew Tom would love. Right now through February 28, 2018, you can save 30% off your order with Shop LC when you use the code “claire30” making it even more budget friendly! *Discount valid on online items 1/10/18 – 2/28/18. Here are some of my favorites:
Bow Crossbody Bag – $17.99
Butterfly Scarf – $9.99
Quilted Crossbody Bag – $19.99
Picnic Kit – $19.99
Tree Jewelry Stand – $9.99
I ended up ordering the bow crossbody bag and the butterfly scarf for myself knowing that they both would make great accent pieces. Plus at $17.99 for the bag and $9.99 for the scarf, plus 30% off of that, they were the perfect price point!
How do you and your significant other celebrate Valentine’s Day – gifts or no? I’d love to hear more from you below!
